Tonight we went to see some Thai Boxing, or Muay Thai as its known over here. The surprise of the night was an Irish guy fighting in his first fight, against a local who has 50+ fights under his belt. I predicted a thrashing by the local and expected to see the Irish guy knocked unconscious after 5 seconds.....I was wrong! The Irish guy kicked the living jaysus out of the local. He had him knocked out in the first round! What a debut fight.
There was about 5 or 6 fights on the bill, including the Koh Pha-Ngan champion versus the Koh Samui champion! This was the headlining fight. The Samui guy won in the end. At least the local champ didn't get injured like a couple of the other fighters. One guy possibly broke his arm, another dropped holding his kdneys after he got a swift kick...actually that was the Irish guy who kicked him. I'd say your man will be pissing blookd for a week!! Nasty!
